London Cycling
"Cycling is the fastest, most healthy and
environmentally friendly way to get around London, and more and more
people are taking it up." Ken Livingstone, ex-Mayor of London
(new mayor, new cycling policies? see 'London Cycling News below)

Average traffic
speeds in Central London are decreasing each year as a result of
more and more congestion: the average is currently around 11MPH
(17kph) - roughly the same as it was a hundred years ago. So use a bike to get about,
and be part of the solution, rather than part of the problem!

* London's new mayor (from May 2008) Boris Johnson
is keen on cycling, and we're all hoping his administration
continues the progress made while Ken was mayor.
