Sky Sports London Freewheel 2009

Following the success of the first London Freewheel in 2007,[for more click here] the event was repeated on Sunday 21 September 2008, with new sponsorship by Sky Sports.

Go Pedal again put a lot of people on bikes at the Clapham Common hub, and everybody had a fantastic day.

We are currently awaiting news of when this year's Freewheel will take place.  

 

An annual event is all very well, but it's high time there was a more frequent programme of road closures to give cycling a regular boost.  In Paris, they do it every Sunday! And in Bogota! (click on the links below)
